When I read "Open Letter to Bernie and FOM" a million possibilities popped into my head. This was not one of them! Still, that is a great point that I had not previously considered. However, it would appear that great points are invariably lost on those who run F1

I would be much happier if they give some consideration to what exactly went in 2007 and how they became champions.

Although Iam least bothered about the politics and politicians and executive heads of Formula One, Iam very pleased to see the name 'Jean Todt' standing for a chance to step into Max Mosley's shoes.

Um...Vettel has 29 points, Webber 27.5. Additionally, Webber has been the highest placed Red Bull at 5 of the 7 races so far. It's hardly a yawning chasm he's trying to breach, is it?

As for Rubens, once his start fell to bits he didn't have much choice but to have a go, and without the right number of gears he was doomed from the start. Think you're giving him some unwarranted stick there, mate.

Toyota have been on the way for a while, surely? They're the ringleaders in the FOTA vs FIA battle, which represents a convenient get-out come the end of the season, and it's interesting that the team that broke ranks and put in their entry is the team currently being supplied with engines by Toyota. Yes, Frank has a race team to safeguard, but his willingness to go against the engine supplier is interesting given that he's got one of their drivers in the car.

Hadn't thought about a Brawn 1-2 at Suzuka. That'd be a giggle.
