I believe one or more manufacturer from those denied entry into Formula 1 in 2010 should form their own series. Think about it: You get to make all the rules up and not deal with Bernie & Co.! There are tons of upsides to forming a new series, such as… One manfacturer or a ruling body [...] Is he not bringing the sport into disrepute? What good has he done – other than safety – for Formula One? We’ve had points changes. Qualifying changes. Tech changes. Constantly. The costs add up. Shouldn’t he be held under some kind of rule book similar to those by which he governs and punishes F1 teams? He wants to [...] With all the downforce created by the wings, it really sticks the car to the ground through the tires. Extreme amounts of pressure. And taking corners at high speeds because of so much downforce. When turned, at such high speeds, at such friction levels, the rubber just scrubs away. It scrubs away at 1.x, maybe twice [...] |
